![]() I got my Yeti for £80 (on special) and it sounds great AND it's a stereo microphone which I use for recording guitar/banjo/vocals into Reason.ĭoing it the more 'professional' way (regarding zero latency and supported ASIO) I would need to buy a pair of matched stereo microphones (I was looking at the Rode M5s for £135), dual microphone stand, two XLR cables and finally, a dual preamp audio interface (let's say £100). Just as an aside, I think it's rather piss poor that USB microphones don't incorporate some kind of ASIO support for the budding home user. ![]() ![]() Reason preferences only gives me the DX and MME options wrt the Yeti and I don't want to use ASIO4ALL. In fact, I just use a random USB port on my TV to power the microphone rather than plugging it into my PC as it seems to take over all my settings when I do so! I've just bought one myself and can only get it to work with my ASIO soundcard by plugging a 3.5mm cable from the headphone output to the LINE IN (NOT mic in) of my sound card. Slight resurrection here but did you manage to get your Yeti microphone to work with Reason? ![]()
